Winners - best beach story

Finally we have picked our winners of the best beach story competition we held at Gold Coast Oceanfest. 180 people told us their best beach story in an effort to win a fantastic Organic Cotton Sutsu tee. We picked 10 of our favourites to win because we felt they summed it up what it's like to enjoy a day out at the beach. And that's our message - thank your beach for a great time by taking a couple of minutes or and hour to clear up some of the rubbish. The winners....

....“Early morning, high tide swim to Clovelly.  Sparkling clear water, new-washed blue sky with billowing clouds reflected by orange smelling sea!”   Liz

“My Boyfriend asked me to marry him at Woolacombe on my 30th birthday and then I went surfing to celebrate!!!” Carly Brook

“A group of nuns dune jumping at Woolacombe with their full kit on - there was about 40 of them screaming.”  Ellie ParKer

“Surfing over at Woolacombe and went over the rock pool and lost control.  I knocked myself and another person out on the rocks, When I recovered I found myself having mouth to mouth by a very hot lifeguard and found myself aroused by it. (Very embarrassing)”  Bigdonner

Great stuff. And thanks to all those who took part.
